Meet Trish Geerlinks
I have been a Nurse for 40 years. I spent nearly four decades in acute care, the majority in perinatal and neonatal care – first as a patient-facing Nurse, then as a Senior Leader building quality, patient safety, and accreditation programs.
Two years ago, I retired from acute care and "rewired" as a consultant during which I co-wrote and enhanced clinical perinatal content for healthcare organizational clients across Canada, and supported national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation applications.
My earlier work included serving as Global Health Ambassador in Karachi, Pakistan as a Quality Accreditation Expert; and for seniors health populations, leading the world-first acute care implementation and accreditation of emotion-based care for persons living with dementia.
With four decades of experience in leadership and leadership development, I have dedicated my career to helping executives, senior leaders, middle managers, and clinical teams navigate complex environments and transitions with clarity and purpose.
As a Leadership Coach, I partner with leaders to unlock their unique potential, fostering a growth mindset that drives both personal satisfaction and measurable organizational impact. My background as an RN and Clinical Leader, and my Master of Science degree provide a unique foundation for understanding the human elements of high-stakes leadership.
My guiding belief hasn't changed in 40 years: people won't care how much you know until they know you care.
